Police in Fuzhou County in China managed to catch the robber thanks to DNA analysis taken from blood stains left by a dead mosquito. During the examination, forensic experts found him in a fenced apartment, writes Global Times.
Law enforcement officials suggested that the thief stayed overnight in someone else’s home: packages of instant noodles, eggshells and a burnt mosquito coil were found. The police are processed by attention to the killed insect and have taken blood for the analysis of DNA.
As a result of the analysis, it turned out that the blood belonged to a resident named Chai, who had already been convicted of stealing straw. The perpetrator was autopsied 19 days after the robbery, gastro-intestinal organs were opened at once from three robbery cases, which, as mentioned, were covered by the same person.
